PART OF SPEECH
Definition: The
word which discloses the identification of the words is called part of speech.
E.g.:Noun(Ram,
Sita), Pronoun (He, She, They, We and you etc.), Verb(Go, Come, Read) etc.(END

TYPES OF PART OF SPEECH
There are eight
types of part of speech. These are as follows:
1. Noun

Pronoun

Verb

Adjective

Adverb

Preposition

Conjunction
8. Interjection
1. Noun:A
noun is the name of any person place or thing.
Eg.Ram,
Kanpur, Book, etc.
2. Pronoun:A
pronoun is the word which used in the place of noun.
Eg.I,
He, She, They, We, You, etc.
3. Verb: A
verb is the word which says something about person place or thing.OR
To do any act is called verb.
E.g:Go,Come,Read,Write,Do, etc.
4. Adjective: An
adjective is the word which qualifies noun or pronoun.
Eg: Good,
Fat, Thin, Sweet, Beautiful, etc.
5. Adverb: An
adverb is the word which qualifies verb, adjective and another adverb.
Eg: Daily,
Now, Today, Carefully, etc.
6. Preposition: A
preposition is the word which keeps before noun or pronoun and points out its
relation with another noun or pronoun.
Eg: :In,On,Upon,At, etc.
7. Conjunction: A
conjunction is the word which merges(adds) any two or more than two sentences
or words.
E.g:
And,But,Yet,As Well As, etc.
8.Interjection:An
interjection is the word which expresses those feelings which comes suddenly
from heart.
E.g:
Hi!,Hurrah!,Bravo!,Oh!,etc.
Note: Part of speech provides you specific knowledgeabout
each word identification.
